Food for Thought

It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them

Beep beep!

Be safe, be heard!
Bikes are hardly noticed when mingled with cars and buses. We are the ones who usually adjust for them because they are bigger and more powerful. Blake came with a built in bell within it's shifters but it was not enough. The sound of the bell does not even get noticed by people, what more by cars? Because safety is my number one priority, I decided to buy and install a Hornit db140.

Hornit db140 is an astounding 140 decibel cycle horn. It comes with a remote button for easy access.

Here are the pictures of the Hornit.

Uses 2 x AAA batteries which lasts for 6-12 months (6 x 1 second blast a day)

Hornit has two kinds of sound. With the button below, it can be interchanged depending what sound you would like to use.

For size comparison, I took a picture of the Hornit beside a pen. You may find it big but the advantage is having a powerful cycle horn.

The Hornit does not work without its remote. I like the remote best because it is really easy for me to access it. I can adjust it to the most comfortable place my thumb wants it to be.

To demonstrate how the button works, I placed it on my iphone. It would work the same with your grip. It is stretchable so would perfectly snug itself.

I was not able to take a picture of the mount so I grabbed one on the internet.

They are very easy to install; I myself is a newbie but I was able to install it properly.
PS: I just started biking last month. Hahaha

UP NEXT>>> I will post a video to show and let you guys hear the Hornit's two kinds of sound.

If you guys like the Hornit db140, visit Coolstuff168PH for a very good price with very friendly staffs (if you're in the Philippines)

Be safe, be heard fellas! :)
